Invogratis — Free Invoice Generator for Freelancers

Invogratis is a free, open-source invoicing platform built for freelancers and small businesses who need something simple but powerful, without the cost of enterprise accounting software. I built it as a contribution to the community — a tool anyone can use, for free, with no catch.

The app covers the full invoicing workflow: create branded, professional invoices and estimates, convert an approved estimate into an invoice in one click, and download or email a polished PDF directly to the client. Invoices can also be shared as secure public links, so clients can view and pay without needing to create an account.

Beyond the basics, the platform handles recurring invoices (weekly, monthly, or yearly), automatic payment reminders for anything overdue, and full or partial payment tracking so it’s always clear who owes what. A reporting dashboard gives users a visual breakdown of earnings, top clients, and monthly trends, with CSV export for their own records.

Built end to end on Laravel, the onboarding is deliberately fast — no credit card, no trial period, just sign up and start invoicing in under a minute.
